Elisha's Barrel Food Ministry Update

We are gearing up for our annual Unity In The Community Christmas Toy Giveaway. This is a big event that we sponsor to be a blessing to many families. We have a party for the children, we wrap the gifts( each child gets 3 gifts a piece), we express and share the true meaning of Christmas and we also provide a light meal. If you would like to be a part of this event you can donate gift cards, money, toys, and volunteer. The children's ages range from infant to 18 years.

106.9 The Light Radio Station will be featuring Shepherd's Hand Ministry weekly in a 30 second ministry awareness mention.

The first S.O.L.O. Event was a success! Thank you to the volunteers who helped have fun with the kids and show them that we care! We played games, had lunch and did a wonderful Bible story activity where everyone participated.

Shepherd's Hand hosted a back to school event in August that supplied hundreds of students with much-needed school supplies.

In December, Shepherd's Hand made over 140 gift bags for senior citizens at 3 Hickory area nursing homes.  The gift bags contained items such as puzzle books, toiletries, socks, and jewelry.
